Eden Autism Services partnered with Els For Autism to bring the national 2014 Golf Challenge to Princeton.

The E4A Golf Challenge is a series of more than 20 regional events at top-rated course across the U.S. and Canada from April through September. Two-person teams compete for a place at the Grande Finale: A two-day extravaganza of golf and entertainment in Las Vegas hosted by Ernie Els and his friends from the PGA Tour set for Oct. 10-12.

Eden’s golf outing is scheduled for Aug. 18 at TPC Jasna Polana, 4519 Province Line Road, Princeton. Registration is set to begin 7:30 a.m.; a shotgun start is set for 9 a.m.

Registration for individual golfers is $400 and includes golf, range balls, a gift bag, continental breakfast, beverage cart with snacks and beverages, a lunch buffet and awards after the tournament.

A $50 discount for online registration is available with the promotional code E4A50.

Eden is also partnering with Els for Autism to provide #GameON Autism Youth Golf Clinics. The free clinics offer training with PGA Pros and Eden staff for first-time and intermediate golfers with autism.

#GameON Golf Clinics include 30 to 40 minutes of golf, 15 minutes of bodily and kinesthetic activity, healthy refreshments and a gift bag for each participant.

The program, aimed at developing life skills, encouraging social interaction and promoting healthy living, has proven a terrific success and has received positive feedback from kids, parents, teachers and golf professionals alike.
