Colonial crafts set for Trent House

The historic Trent House is set to host two craft days for children in August.

Along with making colonial crafts, children can play pre-revolutionary times games and check out wooden toys.

Colonial wigs and garden sachets, made with herbs and flowers from the Trent House colonial garden, is set for 12 to 2 p.m. Aug. 2.

Rag dolls and garden sachets are scheduled for Aug. 23.

Guided tours of the magnificent Trent House are available following craft-making for a fees.

Built in 1719 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Trent House is restored and carefully furnished as it would have been in the early 18th century.

Trent House is located at 15 Market St., Trenton.
