Weisser, an artist who incorporates printmaking techniques in her watercolor painting, was recently awarded the West Windsor Arts Council prize at the 2009 Mercer County Artists Show. Her painting, “Old House,” was selected for the 2009 Mercer County Purchase Award and is now housed in the County’s permanent collection.

Chasan, who resumed painting after a hiatus of 50 years, received an honorable mention for his work, “A Good Man,” from the West Windsor Arts Council at the 2009 Mercer County Artists Show. Most of Chasan’s work is presented in acrylics, currently he uses oil sticks to give his work a more textured look.
