The Children’s Home Society of New Jersey (CHSofNJ), a Trenton-based nonprofit dedicated to strengthening families and promoting children’s health, safety, and well-being, has appointed Duncan Harrison Jr. as its new chief advancement officer. Harrison most recently served as the assistant director of regional affairs at Princeton University.

“I am honored to join CHSofNJ at such a critical and hopeful time,” he said. “This organization has been a lifeline for generations of families. I look forward to working alongside a dedicated team and community to elevate our mission, expand our impact, and continue to build a sustainable future for families in need.”

Harrison’s appointment coincides with a transformative period of leadership and strategic growth for CHSofNJ. “His deep expertise, passion for our mission, and strong ties to the Trenton community and beyond make him uniquely positioned to help lead us forward,” said Julie Dees, chief executive officer. “His appointment reflects our commitment to strengthening our human infrastructure, diversifying our revenue streams, and building lasting relationships that fuel our mission.”
