Radiology Affiliates Imaging (RAI) is partnering with Captain Paul’s Firehouse Dogs to host a Pink Pumpkin Party on Saturday, Oct. 13.

The free family event will be held at Captain Paul’s, located at 2330 Princeton Pike in Lawrence. The event will be held from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m., rain or shine.

There will be pink pumpkins for purchase, paint your own pumpkins, face painting, games and Pink or Treating for the kids. Chris Rollins from the WPST’s Morning Show will be onsite from noon to 2 p.m.

Proceeds from the Pink Pumpkin Patch and 10 percent from all Captain Paul’s purchases will be donated to Back in the Saddle Retreats. Back in the Saddle Retreats offer private and group life coaching and equine therapy to breast cancer patients and survivors.

“We are grateful to be partnering with Captain Paul’s Firehouse Dogs on this wonderful event,” said Dr. Eric Bosworth, president of RAI. “Spreading the word about the importance of early detection and annual mammography is important to RAI, not only during Breast Cancer Awareness Month but throughout the year. We thank Captain Paul’s for sharing in our mission and co-hosting the Pink Pumpkin Party.”
