The EASEL Animal Rescue League is highlighting four pets for their Rescue of the Month.

Samera and Lucky Charm

The “Odd Couple” Samira and Lucky Charm are as different as can be, but you will not find better friends. They were rescued from a kill shelter and are so happy to be together again. Samira is a shy 3 year old and needs time to meet new people.

Both dogs are great around the house and are happy to share with each other. Lucky Charm is a senior (10 years old) and spends most of her time giving kisses, especially to Samira!

If you are interested in the pair, please call Marianne at 609-915-0553.

Summer and Dream

Summer and Dream are bonded siblings. They love to eat and play. They also love to sit in the window and watch the birds. Summer comes up to you and rubs against your legs. She likes getting pet and playing with toys. Dream also likes to play and be pet, but she is more cautious and shy. Both of their tails are always up.

They do not hide. When approached calmly, they do not run, but they do not like when people approach quickly. Neither Summer or Dream like to be held, but they are very responsive to pets and being nearby humans.

They are very bonded and need do be adopted together because they are used to doing everything together. A quieter home with older or no children would be the best fit. Summer and Dream both like their resident cats.

The EASEL trailer and Ewing Animal Shelter are located at 2 Jake Garzio Drive in Ewing. The EASEL Animal Shelter is open for adoptions everyday 12 to 3 p.m. The trailer is open for adoptions Saturdays and Sundays from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and Wednesday nights from 5 to 7 p.m.
