Locals can learn about Hopewell’s history in a unique way this weekend during Hopewell Borough’s 125th Anniversary town bike ride.

The town bike ride will incorporate a scavenger hunt, allowing riders to discovery the borough’s 125-year history.

Event organizers have devised a series of challenges that riders must answer or find during the bike ride.

Those planning to participate should go to Sourland Cycles, 53 E. Broad St. Hopewell, on Saturday, July 9, from 3 to 5 p.m., or Sunday, July 10, beginning at 10 a.m., to get a form and register a team.

Scavenger hunt forms should be returned by 4 p.m on July 10, and drawings for the prizes will take place afterwards.

The scavenger hunt is not a race, as event organizers want people to take their time exploring the borough.

Parking at Sourland Cycles is at the rear of the building. For more information, call 609-333-8553 or visit
