“Jersey Blooms” May flower show

The West Trenton Garden Club is set to host the “Jersey Blooms” Flower Show on Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2. The show will be held from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on May 1 and from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on May 2. “Jersey Blooms” is free to the public and will be held at the Ewing Township Senior and Community Center, 999 Lower Ferry Road, Ewing.

The Flower Show plans to feature horticulture and flower design classes, as well as a competitive youth exhibit eligible for children in grades K-2 and grades 3-5. There will also be a sponsored group exhibit open to members of Ewing Seniors groups sponsored by the West Trenton Garden Club’s Garden Therapy Committee. The show will include a competitive photography exhibit sporting photographs of New Jersey parks, farms, gardens, flowers, plants, sculptures or NJ tourist spots and events.
