Mother Nature Festival to be held May 9

The Lawrence Nature Center plans to host its 12th annual Mother Nature Festival on Saturday, May 9 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. (rain or shine). The event will be held at 481 Drexel Avenue in Lawrence Township.

The event will feature childrens activities such as kite flying, piñatas and hiking as well as music by Eli the Hawk and food and beverages courtesy of Captain Paul’s Firehouse Dogs.

The festival will also include presentations on sharks and their behavior, Italian bees, Monarch butterflies and more. Visitors will be able to tour the nature center’s butterfly garden, native plant garden, beehives and bird station.
