Washington Crossing Audubon to host free birding trip Aug 22

The Washington Crossing Audubon is set to host a free, public birding trip to Johnson Farms on August 22, 2015. Participants will meet at the Princeton Shopping Center at 7 a.m. to carpool and depart for the trip at 8:30 a.m.

The trip will be led by Charles Brine and Brad Merritt at Johnson Farms (previously known as the Sod Farm). Participants will look for migrating shorebirds such as Baird’s, Pectoral, Upland and Buff-breasted Sandpipers and Gold and Black-bellied plovers, in addition to sparrows and horned larks.
