Princeton Area Newcomers and Friends group is set to introduce its roster of interest groups at its first monthly meeting of the year set for 11:45 a.m. Sept. 12.

Newcomers & Friends welcomes women who are new to the area as well as those seeking new friends and experiences.

Monthly meetings, known as Fridays with Friends, are scheduled for the second Friday of the month in the All-Purpose Room at the YWCA Princeton, 59 Paul Robeson Place. A light lunch is available for $8.

The dozens of Interest Groups are just one way members learn more about their community, each other, and themselves. This year’s selections include bridge, hiking, dining out, family history, Mondays at the Movies, Pins & Needles, wine tasting and Teen Talk.

The group also offers a relaxed Social Coffee each month, along with many special events and gatherings.
