Fink to discuss ‘Five Days at Memorial’ at Princeton University

New York Times correspondent Sheri Fink it set to discuss her new book at Princeton University.

Fink’s book, Five Days at Memorial: Life and Death in a Storm-Ravaged Hospital, investigates patient deaths at a New Orleans hospital during Hurricane Katrina, including the arrest of Dr. Anna Pou for four of the deaths, and “the portrayal of the quest for truth and justice.”

Fink is set to present a public talk about the book 4:30 p.m. March 25 in Dodds Auditorium, Robertson Hall, on the Princeton University campus.

A public reception and book sale/signing of her book will follow the discussion in Shultz Dining Room.

Fink’s reporting has won the Pulitzer Prize, the National Magazine Award and the Overseas Press Club Lowell Thomas Award, among other journalism prizes. A former relief worker in disaster and conflict zones, Fink received her M.D. and Ph.D. from Stanford University.
