Psychologist Ari Tuckman is set to give a talk called “A Stronger Mindset to Overcome Life’s Challenges” on April 6 at 3 p.m. in the Community Room at Princeton Public Library.

In the talk, Tuckman, who specializes in diagnosing and treating children, teens and adults with ADHD, anxiety and depression, will discuss how ADHD is a neurological condition, and that neurology often drives psychology.

This is especially true for many adults with ADHD who spent most of their lives undiagnosed and untreated. As a result of this lifetime of additional struggles, they tend to develop certain mindsets and ways of relating to others which may undermine their progress in getting their lives in order.

Tuckman will also identify these common mindsets and provide psychologically-based strategies for those with ADD/ADHD to create a stronger, more effective mindset.

All Princeton Public Library programs are free and open to the public.

The library is located at at 65 Witherspoon Street, Princeton.
