Eight-year-old Devin Singh of West Windsor completed the Rutgers Unite 8K race on April 13 in 44:54, a pace of just over nine minutes per mile. The race’s youngest competitor, he placed 160th out of 891 runners.
Singh used the race to raise funds for the Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, which Singh visited on April 29. He raised more than $500.
