Kid’s Olympics to feature 18th century games

The Old Barracks Museum is set to present the 18th century Kid’s Olympics.

This event, for children ages seven to 12, features 18th century games like hoops, nine pins, and cup and ball.

Prizes will be awarded and no one leaves empty handed.

Participants and their families will receive 10 percent off museum admission.

In addition to the games, children’s author Linda J. Barth will be on site to sign copes of her book, which are available for purchase in The Quartermaster’s Store. Barth’s books include Hidden New Jersey.

Kid’s Olympics is scheduled for 11:30 p.m. to 2 p.m .June 14 at the museum, 101 Barrack St., Trenton.

The participation fee is $5.
