The annual Goldenred Scholarship Fundraiser Luncheon, sponsored by the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa Inc. Pi Chapter will take place on Dec. 6 from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Princeton Manor.

The annual Goldenred Scholarship Fundraiser Luncheon, sponsored by the National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa Inc. Pi Chapter, will take place on Dec. 6. The event will feature vendors with unique gift ideas as well as a silent auction.

The National Sorority of Phi Delta Kappa Inc. is a sorority of educators, mainly working as teachers, principals, supervisors and directors. The Pi Chapter of Trenton comprises many educators working in area public, private and charter schools.

Funds realized from the event support scholarships and educational programs. Recipients of the Mary McLeod Bethune Award, to be presented at the event, are Mr. Stacy Heading, Director of the SEED Male Mentoring Program and Mrs. Elizabeth Lacy, a retired educator, lecturer, and archivist of local and regional African American history.

The Luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the Princeton Manor, formerly Cedar Gardens Banquet Hall, Route 33 in Hamilton.
