Hamilton’s Independence Day fireworks set for July 3

Hamilton Townships annual Independence Day Fireworks and Concert is scheduled for July 3.

The event is set to begin 6 p.m. with opening ceremonies at Veteran’s Park, Kuser Road entrance.

Following the opening ceremonies, the Fabulous Greaseband is set to kick-off festivities with their concert performance.

The Fabulous Greaseband, a seven-member group, is approaching forty years of entertaining audiences along the East Coast. The group is known for their highly entertaining and energetic delivery of songs from the 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s and 90s.

Fireworks will cap off the evening, taking place after dark around 9 p.m.

The fireworks display and concert are funded by Mayor Kelly Yaede’s Corporate Community Sponsorship Initiative.

Throughout the evening, attendees can enjoy food vendors and patriotic decorations at Veterans Park.

In the event of inclement weather, the rain postponement date is scheduled for July 5.
