Ewing Boy Scout Troop 15 kept busy by camping and participating in community service projects in the spring.
In May, the scouts helped the local VFW place American flags near veteran’s graves and took a trip to Jay Mountain in New York. They also built and slept in a primitive shelter at Thompson State Park in Monroe Township to earn the Wilderness Survival Merit Badge.
The troop, sponsored by The Ewingville Presbyterian, is open to boys age 11 to 17. Meeting are scheduled for 7 to 8:30 p.m. Thursdays in The Scout Hut behind the church’s Christian Education Building, 100 Scotch Road, Ewing.
