Six Hopewell Valley Golf Club Diving Team members qualified for Princeton Area Swimming and Diving Association Championships at Community Park Pool July 16-17.

Catherine Von Oehsen, Lilly Von Oehsen, Jocelyn Nociolo, Mia Nociolo, Kyla Machinga and Natalie Hayward competed in a total of seven events at the competition. The divers accomplished one top 16 finish and six medal-earning top eight finishes.

Machinga, Catherine Von Oehsen and Jocelyn Nociolo competed against 22 other divers in the 8U division. Catherine Von Oehsen finished in 15th place with 56.70 points. Jocelyn Nociolo grabbed sixth place and a medal with 68.85 points. Machinga took home a fifth place medal with 71.15 points.

She followed that up with an seventh place medal in the 12U Open, scoring 160.3 points.
