Associate executive director of the Boys & Girls Club of Mercer County Reggie Coleman (center) accepts a grant from Church & Dwight deputy general counsel Andy Forsell and CEO Jim Craigie.

The Church & Dwight Employee Giving Fund awarded $10,000 to the Boys & Girls Club of Mercer County.

The grant is set to support the organization’s programs, which serve 2,300 disadvantaged youths annually.

The Boys & Girls Club provides children and teens in the greater Mercer County area with educational, career enrichment, and recreational activities through after-school, weekend, and summer programs.

The club holds Extended Day Learning programs for 1,100 youths in grades K-8 every day at its main Clubhouse on Centre Street and in public schools in the City of Trenton.

More than 200 high school students participate in the club’s work readiness and college preparatory programs annually. On average, 99 percent of club teens graduate from high school and 80 percent are accepted into college.

The Church & Dwight Employee Giving Fund was established to meet the desires of employees to financially assist those who are less fortunate and to actively support and participate in the good works of nonprofit organizations dedicated to that end. Church & Dwight matches employee contributions to the Employee Giving Fund dollar for dollar.
