St. Francis Medical Center hosted a Pasta Night for the Trenton Tornadoes football team Nov. 7.

St. Francis staff served 75 athletes pasta and breadsticks. During the dinner, colleagues in attendance spoke with the players about their upcoming game against Notre Dame High School.

For the first time since 1996 the Tornadoes are on their way to the playoffs. At the time of the dinner, Trenton High School varsity football team has eight wins and one loss.

Interim president and CEO of St. Francis Medical Center Christy Stephenson wished the team well and promised to host another Pasta Night to celebrate their next big win. County Executive Brian Hughes sent along his best wishes and Walker Worthy, deputy Mercer County Clerk was on hand to wish the team continued success.
