Meals on Wheels of Trenton and Ewing received two grants in February.

Princeton-based companies, Bristol Myers Squibb and Tyco International, both gave MOWTE $10,000 grants.

The grants are to be used to provide meals to low-income homebound residents in Trenton and Ewing.

MOWTE executive director, Judy Shouse Levy said each grant will provide 1,905 meals to their clients.

The organization presently delivers 170 meals a day to its homebound clients in Trenton and Ewing.

Meals on Wheels was founded in 1973 by the Visiting Nurse Association, local congregations and civic leaders to address hunger among seniors in the community.
