Hopewell Valley Chorus to present film-inspired holiday concert

Soloists in the Hopewell Valley Chorus holiday concert include Karen Bolmer, Katy Simonsen, Janet Eickhoff, John Emmons, Tamara Gallant, Chuck Denk, Lisa Ridge, Tim Ridge and Donna Raskin.

Hopewell Valley Chorus is set to present a concert of holiday music from stage and screen.

The family-friendly performance is set to feature a range of songs ranging from Shakespeare’s Blow, Blow, Thou Winter Wind from As You Like It to You’re a Mean One, Mr. Grinch.

Hopewell Valley Chorus plans to sing White Christmas from Holiday Inn, Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas from Meet Me in St. Louis and Walking in the Air from The Snowman.

The program is set to conclude with a carol sing-along.

The concert is scheduled for 4 p.m. Dec 13 at Unitarian-Universalist Church at Washington’s Crossing, 268 Washington Crossing Road, Titusville.

Advanced tickets are $12 for general admission and $8 for students and seniors. Tickets are $15 at the door.
