Abiding Presence Lutheran Church to host Bible school

Abiding Presence Lutheran Church in is set to host Vacation Bible School July 28 through August 1.

This year’s theme is Tell It On the Mountain! Camps activities include lessons about Jesus, singing, making crafts, playing games and eating snacks

Participants will work on the “Help Build a Mountain of Hope” service project. Proceeds for the project are set to benefit families recovering from Hurricane Sandy.

Vacation Bible School scheduled for 6:30 to 9 p.m. from July 28 through August 1. A meal is offered for participating families from 6 to 6:30 p.m. each evening.

Children age 4 through entering sixth grade are eligible to register. Three-year-olds are welcome to attend with a parent or guardian accompanying them.

The first 50 families to register are set to receive a free Tell It On the Mountain! music CD.
