Trenton Brass Quintet Plus One to present holiday concert

Trenton Brass Quintet Plus One is set to perform a holiday concert at Princeton Public Library.

The concert is scheduled for 3 p.m. Dec. 22 in the library’s Community Room, 65 Witherspoon St., Princeton.

The program features traditional Christmas and Hanukkah selections and a special Kwanzaa arrangement.

Trenton Brass Quintet Plus One was co-founded by Karl and Natalie Megules in January of 1973 and has steadily performed throughout the area ever since.

Karl Megules is principal tubist with the Greater Trenton Symphony Orchestra and the Delaware Valley Philharmonic Orchestra. He has performed with the Princeton Chamber Orchestra, The New Jersey Opera Orchestra, St. Peter’s Orchestra by the Sea, Cab Calloway, Bene King and Dick Hyman-Jazz Piano N.Y.C.

He is retired from the Bordentown Regional School District where he was the instrumental music director for 35 years.
