Board of Education President Hemant Marathe will be the keynote speaker at the West Windsor Republican Club meeting Wednesday, April 11, at 7 p.m. at the West Windsor Senior Center.
Marathe will present an overview of the 2012 budget and also discuss the impact of the teachers’ contract on the budget.
Marathe says his priority is explaining “some of the misconceptions that residents have about the school budget and how it relates to their property taxes.”
A question and answer period will follow Marathe’s presentation. The event is free and open to the public.
