A Lalor Elementary School teacher constructed an igloo without snow.

Lalor fourth grade teahcer, Ruth Orama and her fiancé, Emanuel Guerra made an eco-igloo from recycled milk cartons. Orama said the project exhibits how the community can work together to recycle, respect, and beautify the environment.

“Ice bricks” were donated by students and faculty. Orama and Guerra searched recycle bins for additional milk cartons.

The eco-igloo is set to be on display at Lalor’s winter concert Dec. 18 at 7:00 p.m. Music will be performed by fourth grade students under the direction of music teacher Fady Zaher.
