Benefit for Dystonia Awareness

Noel Valero of West Windsor, who suffers from a disease called multifocal dystonia, is the featured speaker at a Dystonia Awareness benefit dinner and silent auction on Friday, March 18, 6 to 10:30 p.m. at the Colonial Club of Princeton University, 40 Prospect Street. $60. Valero, a former aerospace engineer, founded the American Dystonia Society in November, 2009. His wife, Dawn Valero, is an engineer and marketing director for Applied Aerospace Structures Corporation in Stockton, California, and works from home.

They are pictured, above left, with their daughter, Alina, High School South, Class of 2007, a senior at Emory University; and with their son, Eric, High School South, Class of 2009, a student at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute.
