Once again, the West Windsor Bicycle and Pedestrian Alliance will be collecting used adult and children’s bicycles for Pedals for Progress from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, June 13, at the West Windsor Farmers’ Market.

The used bicycles and sewing machines are sent to developing world countries. A donation toward shipping costs is necessary — minimum $10 per bike — as it costs $28 to collect, process, ship, rebuild, and distribute each bicycle.

The farmers’ market is held on Vaughn Drive at the Princeton Junction train station. For more information or to volunteer, call Susan Conlon at 609-936-1916 or Ken Carlson at 609-275-6355, or E-mail wwbikeped@gmail.com.
