Sandy Bonasera, an art teacher at Grover Middle School, was the top female runner at the first CASA Kids 5K held on April 26. The event benefited CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Mercer County, an organization that provides volunteer advocates who represent the best interests of children who have been removed from the home for reasons of abuse or neglect. She is a resident of Hopewell.
