When the Mercer Area District of the Boy Scouts handed out their District Awards of Merit at their annual awards dinner, Robert Carey of West Windsor was among those receiving the Boy Scouts Mercer area’s highest volunteer award. Carey is Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 66.##M:[more]##

Prior to Troop 66, Carey was assistant scoutmaster in Troop 40. He served as Boy Scout Roundtable Commissioner for the 2004 year, and has been active on the training team since 2004, with a focus on Boy Scout Leader basic training and Webelos transition. Carey has taken two Philmont training courses, “Strictly for Scoutmasters” and “Creating the Great Adventure.””
