Construction is scheduled to begin on the new Alexander Road Bridge in the last week in May. The township will hold an information session from 4 to 7 p.m. on May 22 to answer questions residents have about the project, its timeline, and times the bridge will be closed.##M:[more]##

The project is expected to take 18 months to complete, and the current bridge will be operational while the new one is built alongside it. The thoroughfare will be closed completely in the final three months of construction. The project is scheduled to be completed in November, 2008.
