This year OH NO SO HO, the eclectic gift shop in Southfield Shopping Center, received a record breaking number of entries in the Best Mom Contest. Entrants were asked to describe through art and or essay why their mom is the best and how she makes them better people. The entries were judged by Joe Pica, West Windsor chief of police, John Staszak, general manager of McCaffreys Market; and Al Swingle, owner of Al’s Sunoco.##M:[more]##

The Grand Prize Winner was Courtney Hayes, 11, who received a $100 gift certificate to OH NO SO HO, $50 cash, and a gift certificate to McCaffreys.

Sam Lichenstein, 10, received a $25 gift Certificate for his mom for gas from Al’s Sunoco for the funniest entry as well as a $10 gift certificate to OH NO SO HO for his age group.

Other winners included Emily Chou, 5; Briana Fontak, 6; Jack Lichenstein, 7; Maddy Hayes, 8; Kevin Coyle, 9; and Sara Mahmood, 11.

OH NO SO HO is owned by West Windsor resident Cindy Sauber.
