Eugene Kontorovich and Rachel Rosner were married on December 14 in Jerusalem. Rabbi Schlomo Gestertner officiated.
The bridegroom is the son of Vladimar Kontorovich of Plainsboro and Faina Sechzer of Princeton. A graduate of West Windsor-Plainsboro High School, Class of 1993, he graduated from both University of Chicago College and Law School. He is a visiting assistant professor at the University of Chicago Law School.##M:[more]##
His siblings, Leonid Kontovorich, Class of 1997; Alex Kontovorich, Class of 1998; and Luba Kontorovich, Class of 2002 attended the wedding. His father and stepmother, Alla Gil, also attended.
The groom’s attendants included Scott Matthias, David Lissitza, and Adam Heilman.
The bride is the daughter of James Rosner of Washington State and the late Catherine Rosner. She is a graduate of the University of Oregon and a graduate student in philosophy at Northwestern University. Bridal attendants included Luba Kontorovich, Rachel Basofin, and Ruth Ziv.
The couple lives in Chicago.
