Special Olympics
Monica Koppstein of West Windsor will travel to Shanghai, China, in October as a member of the Team USA bowling team at the Special Olympics World Games. Koppstein, 18, is a junior at High School North. She received an individual gold medal and two team gold medals at the National Games. She also plays golf, basketball, and swims.
Senior Olympics
Jacques Lebel of West Windsor braved the scorching heat in track and field events at the 2006 Senior Olympics held in Atlantic City recently. He took third place in the men’s 60 to 64 division in shot put and first place in the javelin. For more information and complete results visit www.njso.us.
