For Anklowitz, #3

There has been a lot of discussion about open government recently on the West Windsor Township Council, and it is likely to be a major issue in the fall campaign. Open government is very important to me, and it is for this reason that I, a registered Democrat, will be supporting Republican Will Anklowitz for township council.##M:[more]##

There cannot be open government if the members of council don’t listen with respect to the public as well as to their fellow council members. I have come to know Mr. Anklowitz well, and have found him to be an honest and hard-working man who has the highest integrity and ethics. If elected, he would make his decisions by listening to the facts and he would show respect for the ideas of the other council members.

I believe that this contrasts strongly with the behavior of Barbara Pfeifer, the current interim council member, who, after disagreeing with the president’s ruling, walked out of a council meeting. I believe that is not an action that Mr. Anklowitz, or anyone who believes in open government, would take. That is why we need Mr. Anklowitz on township council.
