Team Campus today announced its “Live, Work, Play” expansion to Team Campus Bordentown, a mixed-use campus with a combination of residential apartments, medical and professional office buildings and retail sites.
The organization plans to break ground in April 2020 for the construction of 84 luxury senior apartments at the Team Campus site. The announcement follows the Bordentown Township Planning Board’s Sept. 12 passing of a resolution approving the plans for the construction of the apartment units.
A spokesperson for Team Campus says the units will help the township meet its fair share housing obligation. Team Campus is a subsidiary of K Johnson Enterprises, LLC.
“The Live, Work, Play Expansion helps to fulfill the vision of Team Campus,” said Kevin Johnson, CEO of K Johnson Enterprises, in a media release. “We have already invested over $50 million into the Bordentown Community and, with the completion of TCPII, Senior Apartments and other future plans, we will invest another $100 million into the community. We are excited to kickoff this next step in the evolution of Team Campus, offering tenants state-of-the-art, modern medical and retail amenities and facilities currently unavailable in the local area/region and new luxury housing for senior residents,” said Kevin Johnson, CEO of K Johnson Enterprises. “The development of Team Campus North and the senior apartments follows our success with Team Campus Bordentown.”
Johnson said Team Campus continues to work to enhance the community and meet all of its members’ family, health, living, entertainment, wellness, sport and lifestyle needs. “We invite all members of the community to join the Team Campus community and we look forward to a successful partnership,” he said.
When it is finished, Team Campus, at 115 Route 130, will comprise three medical office buildings and two retail buildings, as well as the apartments. Team Campus also has plans to add an outdoor community swimming facility and an outdoor turf field.
“We continue to make significant progress on our vision to become more than just residents and business owners,” Johnson said. “[Our hope is] to build our local economy and community and to create a sustainable ecosystem in which people can live, work and play as neighbors to the benefit of all. We want a healthy Campus that the township and the community can be proud to call their own.”
