Robbinsville Township has officially fulfilled its affordable housing obligations through July 1, 2025.

On Nov. 2, New Jersey Superior Court Judge Mary C. Jacobson issued a final judgement of compliance and repose of affordable housing litigation between Robbinsville Township and Fair Share Housing Center.

Robbinsville’s plans for 638 moderate and low income units is the planned acquisition of the Mercer Mobile Home Park, along with the newest Project Freedom complex at Town Center South.

“We are very appreciative of Fair Share Housing Center for working so closely with us to reach a fair and comprehensive affordable housing settlement agreement to bring to Superior Court Judge Mary Jacobson,” Mayor Dave Fried said in a statement. “The Project Freedom and Mercer Mobile Home Park properties allow us to meet our lawful affordable housing requirements now and well into the future. Both FSHC and the Court have recognized our efforts as one of the leaders in affordable housing in New Jersey, and we are extremely proud of that distinction.”
