The Ewing High School Class of 2018 will hold commencement exercises on Thursday, June 21, at CURE Insurance Arena in Trenton at 7 p.m.

Among the graduates will be the Top 10 academically ranked seniors—a diverse group who will be pursuing an array of different fields of study when they head off to college later this year.

Each of the students, who are ranked in the Top 10 based on their GPAs, filled out a questionnaire detailing their future plans and reflecting on their time in the Ewing Public Schools.

Many of the students will be attending college in state, including four who will be going to Rutgers University. One will be attending The College of New Jersey and another will be going to Mercer County Community College.

Out of state schools include The Ohio State University, St. Louis University, Boston University and Drexel University.

The students will be studying a number of different majors, including accounting, art, biology, finance, mathematics, occupational therapy, psychology, neuroscience and urban education.

1Keri Capstack

Rutgers University (Finance and French)
Career plans: Investment banker or actuary

Rank: 1, GPA: 4.49

Planned college activities: Sorority, club lacrosse or soccer and community service.

EHS clubs and sports: Varsity soccer and lacrosse, student council, National Honor Society, Consumer Bowl, Math League, Peer Leadership.

5Lauren Ettenger
