Get your passports ready—one of Bordentown’s sweetest traditions is set to return to the city Friday, Feb. 12. The annual Valentine Holiday Chocolate Walk is scheduled for 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. along Farnsworth Avenue.
Stores, business and restaurants lining the street will open their doors for an evening of fun and chocolate treats—at no cost to participants.
Each business offers “Chocolate Walkers” a tasty chocolate treat and a stamp in their chocolate passports. As you stroll the historic downtown business district, be on the lookout for anything from a piece of chocolate to a brownie, or even a chocolate-tini.
After completing the walk, participants can turn in their signed, completed passports to be eligible for a drawing to win $50 in Bordentown Bucks.
Passports can be picked up at Rebecca’s Vintage Boutique and Consignment Shop, 224 Farnsworth Ave., on the evening of the Chocolate Walk. This is a rain or shine event.
Visitors are also encouraged to enjoy a meal at one of the city’s eateries. For a list of restaurants, visit downtownbordentown.com/dining.
