Tom Caruso Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity Trenton and Richard Weidel III shake hands to finalize their participation in the Community Partners program to help families one house at a time.

You’ve probably heard of bake sales or car washes to raise money. Now, if you or someone you know is buying a house, that home purchase can help raise money for Habitat For Humanity Trenton.

Habitat for Humanity Trenton has teamed up with Weidel Real Estate through their new Community Partners program to help families one house at a time. Whenever buyers purchase a home through Weidel Real Estate, they can have a portion of the home purchase price rebated as their tax-deductible donation to Habitat For Humanity Trenton. That gift can have an even greater impact for buyers whose companies offer matching funds, as Weidel will help facilitate getting those funds to Habitat For Humanity Trenton.

Princeton Mortgage is also refunding their mortgage application fee for buyers who donate to Habitat For Humanity Trenton through the Weidel Community Partners Program.

Habitat For Humanity advocates to improve access to decent and affordable shelter and supports a variety of funding models that enable families with limited resources to make needed improvements on their homes. Since the organization was founded in 1986, Habitat For Humanity Trenton has helped to repair and maintain an additional 250 homes in the greater Central Jersey region.
