The Princeton Battlefield Society will join the state in a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the acquisition of the D’Ambrisi Property and annexation to Princeton Battlefield State Park. The event will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Colonnade, 500 Mercer Street, Princeton.

The Princeton Battlefield Society will join the state in a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony to celebrate the acquisition of the D’Ambrisi Property and annexation to Princeton Battlefield State Park. The event will be held on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 10 a.m. at the Colonnade, 500 Mercer Street, Princeton.

The event honors the purchase and annexation of the property to Princeton Battlefield State Park which played key roles in the Battle of Princeton.

Event speakers will include: Assistant Commissioner Richard Boornazian; Mark Texel Director of NJ State Park Service will be the Master of Ceremonies; Liz Lempert Mayor of Princeton; Rep. of Brian Hughes Mercer County Executive; Kip Bateman State Senator; Wendy Mager President of Friends of Princeton Open Space; Jerald Hurwitz President of Princeton Battlefield Society; and James Lighthizer President, Civil War Trust/Campaign 1776.
