Superheroes of all shapes and sizes participated in the CASA Kids Superhero 5K on Saturday, April 27 at the Princeton Pike Corporate Center to support CASA of Mercer and Burlington Counties. Robert D. Prunetti, MIDJersey Chamber of Commerce’s president and CEO, served as Honorary Co-Chair of the event along with Yvette Donado, CAO and senior vice president for Educational Testing Service.
“We at the MIDJersey Chamber, with support from our Community Impact Partners, feel that civic responsibility is an important element to creating strong communities. I believe that CASA is an extremely valuable service for children who otherwise would not have someone to speak up for them. It was my privilege to serve as Co-Chair of this event and I encourage people to get involved and consider becoming an advocate,” Prunetti said.
Organizations from the mid-Jersey region, such as Tyco and HDR, led their own teams to show their commitment to giving back to the community. All proceeds from the Superhero 5K Run will benefit CASA for Children of both counties.
