Several Eastern Express swimmers won first place at the Region F New Jersey 12 under Silver/Bronze championships at The College of New Jersey March 2 and 3.

EEX was represented in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly and individual medley races.

Eleven swimmers from Mercer County competed in the 10-years old and under age group.

Emma Byrne, John Collins, Abigail Danko and Andrew Yuen are from Lawrenceville.

Byrne, age 10, earned fifth in the 100 IM and 50 free races and sixth place in the 100 free and 200 free.

Collins, age 10, won first in the 100 IM, 100 free, 50 back, 50 breast, 200 free, 100 back and 200 IM races.

Danko, age 10, won first in the 100 free, 100 fly, 200 free and 200 IM races. She also took third in the 50 fly and fourth in the 50 back and 100 back.

Yuen, age nine, took second in the 100 free and 200 free races, third in the 50 breast, fourth in the 50 fly and sixth in the 100 IM.

Erin Heyeck, Grace Hoedemaker, Shriya Karthikvatsan, Samir Khare, Priya Naphade and Alessio Paoloni are from Pennington.

Heyeck, age 10, took third place in the 200 free.

Hoedemaker, age 9, earned first in the 50 fly, fifth in the 200 IM, sixth in the 50 free, seventh in the 100 free and eighth in the 50 breast.

Karthikvatsan, age 9, won first in the 100 breast, third in the 50 breast and eighth in the 100 free.

Khare, age 10, finished second in the 100 IM and 100 back races, third in the 50 free, fourth in the 50 fly, fifth in the 50 back and seventh in the 100 free.

Naphade, age 10, finished fourth in the 200 free and seventh in the 500 free.

Paoloni, age 10, won first in the 100 free, 50 back and 200 IM races, second in the 50 breast, third in the 200 free and sixth in the 50 fly.

Hamilton resident Alyssa Liou, age 10, won first in the 100 IM, second in the 100 breast and 50 free races, fourth in the 100 free and 50 breast races and seventh in the 100 back.

West Windsor resident Evan Rogers, age 10, won first in the 50 fly, fourth in the 200 Free and seventh in the 100 IM.

Ten Mercer County residents competed in the 11 to 12-years-old age group.

Swimmers Ian Wang, Phillip Collins and Marcos Ortiz are from Lawrenceville.

Wang, age 11, earned seventh in the 100 Breast.

Collins, age 12, won first in the 50 fly, 100 breast, 1000 free, 50 breast, 100 IM and 50 free races.

Ortiz, age 12, won first in the 50 fly, 100 IM and 100 fly races. He also placed second in the 100 free and 50 back and fifth in the 200 free.

Hopewell resident Ethan Anderson, age 12, earned second in the 100 breast.

Ewing resident Caleb Bergstro, age 12, won first in the 100 breast, 50 back, 200IM and 200 Breast races. He also took second in the 500 free, 200 free, 100 IM, and seventh in the 50 free.

Trenton resident Charlotte Driver, age 11, finished sixth in the 100 fly.

Robbinsville resident Michaela Johnson, age 12, took third in the 200 back and 100 back races.

Princeton resident Pepper Kolman, age 12, won first in the 50 fly and 100 free races.

West Windsor resident Isabelle Peel, age 12, won took second in the 50 fly and 50 breast races. He also finished third in the 100 breast, 50 back, 100 IM and 100 fly races.

EEX, located in Princeton, is a member club of USA Swimming and provides year-round competitive swim team. It also has a licensed SwimAmerica learn-to-swim program.
