Lewis Center for the Arts is set to host a dance performance Jan 18 and 19.

The performance is set for 8 p.m. in the Patricia and Ward Hagan ‘48 Dance Studio, 185 Nassau Street, Princeton.

The performance is set to showcases work by the school’s Program in Dance students.

The Lewis center said the students are mentored by Susan Marshall.

Marshall said students were invited to submit recent new work for consideration by Dance Program faculty. Works chosen are choreographed by Tess Bernhard ‘14, Jessica Berry ‘15, AJ Brannum ’13, Casey Brown ‘14, Silvia Lundgren ‘15, Paul Schepel ‘14, Stefanie Siller ‘13, Tula Strong ‘15, Ogemdi Ude ‘16 and Adin Walker ‘16.

Marshall said the performance choreography is from a diverse array of genres.

“This is fresh, bold work, and I’m so glad audiences will have an opportunity to see the diversity of work emerging from our dance studios,” Marshall said.

Student work is also set to be performed at the Program in Dance’s annual Spring Dance Festival. The festival is set for Feb. 22 through 24 at the Berlind Theater at McCarter Theater Center.
