Plainsboro residents chose familiar faces in the elections on November 2, re-electing incumbent Democrats Michael Weaver and Ed Yates to the Plainsboro Township Committee.

Weaver and Yates earned 60 and 58 percent of the votes, respectively, to defeat Republican challengers Neil Sutter and Anthony Cook, who garnered 36 and 36 percent of the votes, respectively, for two three-year seats on the Township Committee.

Weaver received 2,701 votes, while Ed Yates received 2,607 votes. Sutter earned 1,612 votes, while Cook earned 1,596 votes.
