David Suarez Softball Classic seeks teams for the annual benefit to be held on Saturday, July 16, at West Windsor-Plainsboro High School South. Boy Scouts of America Troop 40 in West Windsor celebrates a 40-year anniversary Friday and Saturday, June 17 and 18, at Community Park in West Windsor. Poster Contest

Princeton Junction Post Office “Dog Bite Awareness Poster Contest” is open to students in grades 1 to 5. The theme is good neighbors keep good control of their dogs. One entry per student. Entries must be 11 by 14 inches, horizontal or vertical, in any two-dimension medium. Entry must have entry form attached to the back in a sealed envelope. Deadline is Wednesday, May 18. All entries will be displayed in the lobby of the post office. Judging is on Friday, May 20.

Kids Walk for Chalk

Auditions

Peddie Community Players has open auditions for world premiere of new comedy “Exhibit This!” on Wednesday and Thursday, May 25 and 26, 7 to 9 p.m. in the choral room of the Swig Arts Center, Peddie School, Hightstown. Written by New Jersey playwright Luigi Januzzi, the contemporary play is set in the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Performances July 8 to 17. Male and female actors should be age 20 and up. Stars in the Park seeks actors for “The Wizard of Oz” to open at Open Air Theater on Thursday, August 18. Shakespeare Theater of New Jersey is accepting applications for acting apprenticeships and internships in all areas for young adults ages 18 and older. “Take the Summer On!” runs from May 29 to August 15.
