Every spring students in the gifted education programs in the West Windsor-Plainsboro middle schools are involved in cognetics projects to attain awards from the National Talent Network. This year, one of the students, Nicole Dalaya, a Community Middle School student, is presenting an event to develop community awareness on gifted education programs available in the school district. The presentation is at Plainsboro Public Library on Tuesday, March 29, at 7 p.m.

Part of the presentation includes a display on the various cognetics programs available to students allowing them to think outside the box. The event is to educate parents and children on the opportunities available for students seeking academic excellence.

Several students from both middle schools have also submitted letters and articles to the West Windsor-Plainsboro News. They will be available for reading at www.wwpinfo.com in a section labeled “Cognetics.”
