More Camps and Summer Programs

Every day we discover more and more summer programs of interest to our readers. These are our recent discoveries to add to the camp list in The News, February 20 issue, as well as a few corrections to listings in that issue.

Day Camp

Summer Musical Program: In cooperation with the Westfield Young Artists’ Cooperative Theater for ages 14 to 21 with vocal and dance training. “Anything Goes” to be showcased at Victoria Theater, Friday, July 16, to Saturday, July 25, and at the Algonquin Arts Theater in Manasquan, Friday, July 30, to Sunday, August 8. Theater Camp: Playwriting, acting, puppet theater, musical performance. Half-day for pre-K to grade 3, $260 per two-week session. Full-day for grades 4 to 9, $595 per two-week session. Teen evening camp, $310 per two-week session.

Summer Intensive: Five-week program for intermediate and advance pointe dancers with classes in ballet, jaz, modern, acting, and fitness. June 28 through July 31. By audition.

Correction: PDT is also offering a two- and four-week summer camp for 10-15 year olds, encompassing ballet, musical theater, hip hop, and lyrical. Available weeks are July 5 to 16, July 19 to 30, and July 5 to 30. Two-week session is $550; four-week session is $1,"000.

Theater Camp: Half-day and full-day programs, 2 to 8-week sessions. Musical production each week with roles for all campers. Acting, scenery, costumes, props, special effects, and painting.
