Steven T. Blakes, 39, of Newport News, died December 1, at Riverside Regional Medical Center, Newport News. Survivors include his brother, Kenneth R. Washington of Plainsboro.
John S. Samus, 51, died on December 3 at his home in Rocky Hill. A custodian working for the West Windsor-Plainsboro School District, he was also the co-owner of the Washington Street Station in Rocky Hill. Born in Shenandoah, Pennsylvania, he lived in Rocky Hill for 16 years.
Survivors include his wife, Rosemary E. Samus; his parents, John and Helen Samus of Fogelsville, Pennsylvania; his stepchildren, Zoltan Vadasz of Rocky Hill, Christopher Vadasz of Cookstown, and Kimberly Hamlett of Belle Mead; his children, Nina Wilkes, and Mindy and Derek Samus, all of Georgia; his sisters, Ann Marie Quinlan of Kutztown, Pennsylvania, and Teresa Kleiza of Long Valley; and his grandson and a special friend, Chip Hamlett.

Patricia I. Yetsko-Belick, 61, of Plainsboro died December 4 at her residence. Born and raised in New Brunswick, she lived in Somerset for 20 years before moving to Plainsboro 24 years ago.
A graduate of the Cittone Institute, she was the co-owner of Marquis Limo in Plainsboro. She was a former employee of Chicopee in Milltown; Instersteb Chemical in New Brunswick; and Mom’s Restaurant in Edison. A communicant of the Queenship of Mary, she was a member of the Rosary Society.
Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Ronald; two sons, Ronald of Woodbridge, Darren and his wife Nancy of South Brunswick; her daughter, Denise and her husband Ed Doherty of Plainsboro; her brothers Steven Yetsko of Albany, New York, and Gary Yetsko of Edison; and five grandchildren, Krista, Douglas, Scott, Chad, and Andrew.

Beatrice M. Gallagher Howarth, 93, died December 9 at Forrestal Nursing Center at Windrows, Plainsboro Township.

Robert P. Simbala, 63, died December 16, at the University Medical Center of Princeton. Born in Brooklyn, he was a longtime West Windsor resident before moving to Princeton 12 years ago.
